Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is an Indian daily soap serial which sees its protagonists, Disha Parmar and Nakul Mehta getting hitched to one another despite being complete strangers and their struggles to juggle and find mutual respect and understanding of one another as well as the marital bliss.
Being very typical in its own way, this show had some of the most stylish and fashionable looks worn by its leading couple. Here’s a little and quick recap of Disha Parmar and Nakul Mehta’s fashionable outfits on the show.

1. The wedding look
The trend these days on television shows is to dress up the bride and groom in the most classy outfits possible but in a simple and subtle manner so as to make them look like they are from a simple family and that it looks realistic. In a poster shared by the makers of the show, both, Disha and Nakul are seen in their respective attires as a bride and a groom.
Disha wore a rich and royal red-coloured silk saree that had motifs over it in the shape of medium-sized trees and was silver in colour just like the border of the saree. The half sleeves blouse of the saree matched its saree in terms of its colour as well as the border. A red netted dupatta with a golden border was used as a veil over Disha’s head to make them look a bit embellished, crystal and black stoned choker, earrings and a maang tika were added along with a nath over Disha’s attire.
Her makeup was kept really simple and plain as though to make it appear like she wasn’t wearing any like a no-makeup makeup look. She even has the laal joda and golden kaleeras on her hands which are the signs of a new bride.
On the other hand, Nakul wore an off-white sherwani with silver work and brown buttons over it and paired it with a pista green coloured dupatta that had a zardosi silver border. To make him appear like a groom, he had even worn a sehra, which is like a turban that is worn by the to-be groom on his big day. It was also pista green in colour.
2. The casual party wear look
Parties have been given tremendous importance in Indian television shows and the protagonist couple usually dresses up really well to attend such parties and to steal the limelight of the event. In one such episode, Disha Parmar and Nakul Mehta are seen dressed to attend a similar kind of event and this is where the hero gives his loving wife a rose as a symbol of his love and affection.
The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actor Disha is seen wearing a baby pink long Anarkali with a U-shaped neckline that has a silverish white border over it and silver plant-like structures scattered over the Anarkali. She even matched it with a sheer white but heavily embroidered white dupatta to match well with the border of her Anarkali. To showcase those newlywed bridal looks, she has a bunch of red and gold bangles added over both her wrists and a pair of huge gold earrings as well.
A simple but elegant mangal sutra on the neck, a very small bindi over the forehead, baby pink lips, kajal on the eyes and a diamond finger ring was also a must. Her straight hair was side parted and some strands of her hair were tied together to create a puff effect.
Nakul Mehta on the other hand was given a simple navy blue tuxedo that had a navy blue blazer with a navy blue satin shirt and a matching pants as well. He had Ling’s hair here which was curled up a bit and later set with the help of a hair gel in a very sleek manner to give it a clean look and not an untidy and unfinished look. He was even seen wearing brown leather boots to match his tuxedo.
3. The sangeet look
In a BTS group picture shared by the cast members of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, the actors are seen enjoying their breaks on set while shooting for the sangeet ceremony. Being a happy and cheerful and playful ceremony, everyone is seen wearing elegant and traditional wear outfits that look beautiful and glamorous over them. The to-be bride Disha (in the show) is seen wearing a complete blackish blue coloured attire.
She is seen wearing a blackish blue satin blouse that is embellished with golden and red coloured flowers and has a golden border over its U-shaped neck. The half sleeves blouse went really well with a simple and plain satin lehenga of the same colour as the blouse. The dupatta however had a different design though of the same colour. It had golden sparkles all over and a thigh-golden border with a thin red line over it.
To make her look more appealing as a to-be bride, Disha wore a bunch of black and gold bangles in both her wrists and a gold necklace with medium-sized gold jhumkas in the ears. A small black bindi on the forehead, nude lip colour and a minimal makeup look was sported during the sangeet ceremony by Disha.
4. The simple late-night look
The television industry prefers to have its cast wearing the most elegant and beautiful pieces of garments as their night wears. In a picture and a similar poster of the show, Disha is seen in night mode wearing a peacock green three-piece suit. The long kurta of the suit had chikankafi work all over it while its dupatta was plain and netted.
The pant of the kurta too was very simple just like the dupatta. Pearl studs in the ears, a simple gold wrist bangle, and some sindoor and side parted straight hair with a no-makeup makeup look were what served as the nightwear look.
On the other hand, when Nakul arrives from his office, he is seen wearing a typical rich businessman could be imagined wearing, that is, a three-piece formal suit. A white sheer shirt underneath a black blazer and the same coloured pant with his hair tamed and side parted to give a sleek clean look as well as his moustache and beard trimmed a bit to give him the rich and mature look served as a hardworking and honest businessman.
5. The newlywed look
Disha being a glamorous and graceful queen herself, donned a dark green kurta with a zardozi gold floral pattern over it and its half sleeves which also had a multi-coloured thick border and to add a bit of contrast to the green, a pink and golden dupatta was matched with the kurta.
As usual, the gold and red coloured bangles over her wrists, a mangal sutra, golden jhumkas in the ears and side parted long and straight hair added to the simplicity of the look. Though aiming for a natural makeup look, Disha’s contour appeared a little overpowering on her face but her pink lips and sindoor tend to nullify that effect.
In addition to that, Nakul had worn a black tuxedo with double silver patterned lines all over it. A round dialled gold belt wrist watch with a bit of contrast messy long hair look and neatly trimmed moustache and beard made Nakul look like a macho man.
