Madhuri Dixit, apart from being one of the most beautiful actresses and amazing dancers the Bollywood industry has seen, is also a fashion icon. Not only are Bollywood songs that she has been a part of, such as ‘Ek do Teen’, ‘Tamma Tamma Loge’, ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’, ‘Dola Re’, ‘Aaja Nachle’ and many other songs that she has been a part of; classic, but even her outfits for these songs are iconic.
She has always brought her A-game when it comes to fashion and the outfits of her latest release ‘The Fame Game’ on Netflix do not disappoint. In her recent venture into the acting world, she plays the protagonist of the series which portrays the life of a star that seems perfect from the outside but the reality is far from it.
1. Madhuri Dixit Fame Game Look
This Karan Johar produced series revolves around the character Anamika Anand, a superstar, played by Madhuri Dixit. And when she goes missing, it unfolds all her secrets and details that she kept hidden from the public eye. The trailer and storyline itself seem very promising but what caught the attention of everyone was her promotional wardrobe, styled by Ami Patel. Let’s look into some of my personal favorites.
2. Black Midi Leather Dress
For the launch of the trailer, she wore a black midi leather dress with thin straps by House of CB. The dress gave a very millennial look with some soft pleats. She styled it up with thick metal hoop earrings and some pretty rings from Studio Metallurgy. Her light makeup that included eyeshadow, mascara, and glossy nude lips, with her shoulder-length open, slightly curly hair, finished her look with a classy touch. She looked stunning as usual and the black leather dress was definitely a statement no one could miss.
3. Red Three Piece suit
Next is a red three-piece set from an Indian label, Anushee. She styled a v neck strappy crop top with detailed embroidery with a golden and white floral print sharara and a matching cape-like long open jacket. Taking her bold red look to the next level, she added some statement big earrings, matching bangles, and rings. Her muted make-up, side part hairdo, and freshly manicured nails made her skin glow. This Indo-Western look suited her like no one else.
4. Flowy Maxi Dress
Then came the flowy maxi dress with a beautiful floral print by Astha Narang. It also featured a long open cape with the same print and a built-in belt that brought everything together into one look. This dark charcoal black dress gave off a bohemian spring vibe. She paired her flowy dress with some beige transparent strap heels and statement earrings along with matching rings.
The sheer sleeves, intricate borders, and the beautiful belt that cinched her waist turned his basic summer outfit into something more unique. She absolutely rocked this style with her glossy nude makeup.
5. Red Midi Bodycon Dress
Up next is the classic red midi bodycon dress by Safiyaa. The strong offbeat bold sleeves taking this minimal beautiful look to a high fashion look is the highlight of this dress. Pair it up with some diamond earrings and rings with a cute updo, letting the front bangs fall on the face and this is a perfect date night look for valentine’s day.
She went all out as she matched this look with a pair of red strappy pumps that gave this otherwise soft and elegant look an edgy finish. Her make was subtle and consisted of very light red blush, eyeliner, mascara, and a muted peachy red lip color.
6. Madhuri Dixit Featured Fame Game Look
With her most recent look, she featured an outfit from her new Netflix original show, ‘The Fame Game. This outfit is a vibrant three-piece set with a red silky skirt with some pleats on the side. The long blazer-like jacket is flowy in the end and structured at the shoulder. Under the blazer is a crop top with intricate designs and floral prints.
The jacket has an ombre effect that starts with blue on top and ends with bright yellow below. The waistband of the skirt is also made out of the same detailing as the long blazer and crop top. She finished the look with some chunky rings, big chunky earrings, and simple one-strap red heels. Her look went perfectly with the glam and glossy makeup and her open mane in textured waves.
7. Fame Game premier Night Outfit
She stole the showed on the premiere night of ‘The Fame Game’ with a strapless solid black sequence midi dress. Not only was this gorgeous body-hugging dress by Nadine Merabi sequined, but it also consisted of fur details on both the extreme edges of the dress, top and bottom.
The waist had a cinched look because of the inbuilt black belt. For jewelry, she added some sparkly diamond danglers from the house of Mahesh Notandass Fine jewelry and a matching ring. She styled her hair open in wavy curls in a side part.
The Dhak Dhak girl kept her make her simple but classy with a nude lip color, nude eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a little contour to make beautiful features stand out more. She finished the look with pair of simple charcoal black high heels with straps. She nailed the look to a tee!
8. Maroon Anarkali set
The dreamiest look ever, a maroon Anarkali set by none other than Tarun Tahiliani. It was a simple yet sophisticated and elegant look of all the looks so far. The deep V neck, light folds, detailing in the borders, and the sheer flowy fabric itself take this look so far up the ladder.
She teamed it up with some dangling silver jhumkas and rings. For her makeup, she kept it simple with light pink blush, brown eyeshadow, a little mascara, and a matte light maroon lip color. The minimal ethnic look of her Anarkali was balanced by the silk brocade dupatta. All in all, she looked gorgeous as always and this definitely the favorite lookout of all.
